Burnout is more than just emotional exhaustion — it’s a nervous system response to chronic stress and overwhelm, and it’s showing up in both our patients and ourselves. In this practical, research-informed session, Logan alum Dr. Danielle Angela Thomason shares how to clinically recognize burnout and address it through a nervous system lens. Attendees will learn to identify key physiologic patterns associated with burnout, apply updated diagnostic criteria, and integrate co-management strategies that support long-term healing. Whether you’re supporting overwhelmed patients or experiencing the early signs of professional fatigue yourself, this session will equip you with hands-on, in-office tools to support regulation, resilience, and recovery — without stepping away from your practice.

Session 1 will focus on understanding burnout through the nervous system lens.

Session 2 will focus on tools for co-management & prevention.
