Direct-to-consumer laboratory testing is increasingly common, and patients frequently present with broad screening panels obtained outside traditional symptom-driven care. This course provides a practical framework for interpreting commonly ordered DTC biomarkers, including CMP, CBC with differential, lipid panel, hemoglobin A1c, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, lipoprotein(a), fibrinogen, thyroid markers, ANA, vitamin B12, folate, homocysteine, iron studies, and magnesium.

Special emphasis is placed on the distinction between medical reference ranges, clinical decision thresholds, and optimal ranges often used in preventive or functional settings, while maintaining a clinically responsible approach to interpretation, follow-up, and patient counseling.
